N’Djamena, Chad — President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno has renewed his full confidence in Prime Minister Allamaye Halina and his government, according to a Facebook post from the president this Sunday. Halina responded with his own statement, calling the renewed trust “an immense honor” and an added responsibility.
In his post, Mahamat Deby said he was renewing his “full confidence” in the Prime Minister and his entire team. He urged Halina to continue implementing the government’s program “with serenity and determination,” the same platform he said earned him the trust of the Chadian people.
Halina echoed that message in his own response. He said the renewed confidence pushes the government to “stay focused on the essentials: serving the Republic, keeping our commitments, and delivering concrete results” for citizens.
The Prime Minister pledged that his government would press ahead, with “serenity, determination, and team spirit,”on the 12 chantiers et 100 actions program, the platform on which Chadians elected President Mahamat Deby. He added that “a mandate is honored through results, and Chad’s future is built through action,” before thanking the president for his renewed trust.
The exchange signals continuity at the top of the government, amid speculation of a reshuffle following the release of Succès Masra.
