On the sidelines of the 47th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, held from July 10 to 11, 2025, in Malabo, Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad, H.E. Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, held a high-level meeting with his Angolan counterpart, H.E. Téte António.

This bilateral meeting, taking place in the context of enhanced continental cooperation, marked a significant step in revitalizing relations between Chad and Angola.

Discussions focused on the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, regional security, and shared geostrategic issues. The two ministers emphasized the importance of a more structured collaboration between N’Djamena and Luanda, particularly in areas such as economic diplomacy, the fight against cross-border insecurity, and coordination on major African matters.

This exchange reflects the shared intent of both countries to deepen their ties beyond traditional frameworks. It forms part of a broader Pan-African dynamic, where South-South partnerships are increasingly seen as a strategic tool to address the continent’s security, economic, and environmental challenges.
