Chad’s Dary Festival is underway in N’Djamena, marking its 7th edition. It draws cultural groups from across the country.

The Dary Festival runs from December 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026. It showcases Chad’s 23 provinces through traditional dances, live music, craft exhibitions, and local cuisine.

The festival offers a platform for artists and cultural associations to present their heritage nationally and internationally.

It was launched in 2018, the Dary Festival has grown into Chad’s largest cultural gathering. It seeks to strengthen national unity, promote cultural diversity, and support local industries. Authorities view it as a tool for boosting tourism and Chad’s regional cultural visibility.

Held at Place de la Nation, the festival attracts large crowds every evening,
reflecting Chad’s identity and values. It has become a symbol of cohesion, creativity, and pride for Chadians.
