N’Djamena — Deputies of Chad’s National Assembly on February 16, 2026 adopted a bill ratifying Ordinance No. 1 of 2026, which creates the National Information Security and Electronic Accreditation Agency.

A total of 160 lawmakers voted in favour of the text. One voted against it, while two abstained. In all, 163 deputies took part in the vote.
