Following an official invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron, President Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno arrived in Paris for a working visit.
The visit features direct, closed-door talks on shared bilateral, regional and international issues. Officials say the discussions focus on practical cooperation and current geopolitical challenges.
The visit comes 14 months after Chad ended its defence cooperation agreement with France, a decision that reshaped relations and prompted a broader review of ties between the two countries.
