Chad has signed several agreements with French companies Matière SAS and Ellipse Projects SAS to support infrastructure, industry and health projects.
The deals were signed Tuesday in Nairobi on the sidelines of the Africa Forward Summit.
The agreements cover the construction of strategic bridges, the creation of a bridge manufacturing plant and the development of health and training facilities, including clinics and nursing schools.

Several ministers signed on behalf of Chad, including Trade and Industry Minister Guibolo Fanga Mathieu.
The projects form part of the national development plan, Chad Connexion 2030.
The agreements come ahead of the Chad-France Economic Forum, scheduled for June 15 in Paris.
