The President of the Republic and Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, received a delegation from the Chad Red Cross (CRT) this afternoon at the Toumaï Palace. The delegation was led by its President, M. Ahmat Senoussi.
The discussions focused on CRT’s humanitarian action, particularly its management of the crisis in eastern Chad amid the continuous influx of refugees from Sudan.
The Head of State praised the commitment of CRT teams working on the ground and reaffirmed his full support for their humanitarian missions.
